What does a three year old and a three month old have in common? Music!

I always try to find an activity for Connor to do in the afternoons now as now that he is three its starting to become harder and harder to get him to nap. Dylan always takes an afternoon nap and thought I try to get Connor to take one too, he has to at least be quiet while Dylan naps. I've always put on a movie or a low key show for him to watch in the afternoons to help him nap and if he doesn't give him something to do while Dylan is napping but if anyone has ever put two boys down at once you know things do not always go as planned.

I've finally found a dvd that both of my boys absolutely love which means I can put them both down for a nap watching it and both of them sit quietly and watch and most days pass out before they get through the entire thing. Sara Hickman's new dvd Big Bird, Little Bird is as entertaining for my three year old as it is my three month old. Sara is a talented singer and the songs included on the dvd alone would make for a great cd but the DVD is really special as it brings her songs to life with animation. I think I honestly love listening it to it as much as they do and it's great background noise for me to work to.

Don't let the dvd case and its simplicity fool you, this dvd is excellent and the animations flow perfectly with the songs and are very engaging. Sara also offers some parenting advice along with her gorgeous songs!
