Good enough to eat?

There is a stark contrast between the play food I had as a child and the play food Connor has already started to collect. Its just not fair.

The food over at Lily Bean Market is downright yummy. Handmade with such loving care each little detail is recreated from the seeds on the pickles to the texture on the lettuce. They are so beautiful I actually find myself hesitating when its time to let Connor play with them. Though I should not fear, all the items at Lily Bean are washable so if they get dirty you can hand wash them as well iron them if needed.

Lily Bean Market sells their play food as individual pieces or as meals. I think you will find the meals a better option as you end up saving quite a bit especially if your looking to add several pieces to your collection at once. I highly recommend the bagged lunch as it includes some of my favorite Lily Bean items. The sandwich itself is far prettier than any ham sandwich I have ever eaten, not to mention its is one of the more interactive pieces as all of the items on the sandwich are loose so little ones can practice their sandwich making skills for when they need bag lunches at school! Not to mention that little super sandwich cookie looks so yummy I really want to lick it to see if it tastes even half as great as it looks.

All of the items I reviewed from Lily Bean Market were very well made and incredibly sturdy. Though they are recommended for children over 3, I would not at all be concerned about them with younger children with supervision. That is just my opinion but I never worry about Connor playing with his cookie set. Connor loves to walk around the house holding super sandwich cookie and we use the ham sandwich as a stacking toy as well. Though I think he agrees me me on how tasty they look as he is always putting the cookies to his mouth while saying "mmmmmm" which is his way of saying yum!
