Ive been dreaming of happy little organic elves dancing in my head. Ok, maybe they are not elves but the clothing line from Happy Green Bee leaves me all warm and fuzzy on the inside.
I kept saying the little brown and yellow stripe made Connor look like a little bee, which is ironic as Happy Green Bee was founded by none other than Roxanne Quimby, the co-founder of Burts Bees!
All of the clothing items are made from organic cotton or recycled materials including the buttons which are 100% post consumer recycled. All of the items in the line are gender neutral and many of them mix and match, which would make them incredibly economical for a family of multiples or a family that knows that they will be having more kids later. With the exception of the dresses all of the items could be used on either gender.
Our favorites from the collection include the kimono top and leggings. We actually have a set of the leggings and cardigan and both of them mix well with some of our other items from different designers which is great as its not uncommon for me to have to bring one or two changes of clothes for Connor if we are out and about, and its especially great if we are packing for a trip as I can get away with far less clothing to pack.
Connor loves his Happy Green Bee as they are incredibly soft and they are pretty stretchy so I'm sure to Connor it feels as if he is wearing his pajamas when really he is all dressed up! I love Happy Green Bee for its adorable striped patterns and the organic cotton. Whenever possible if I can choose between and organic product line or not, hands down it will be the organic line as we have to protect the planet so Connor can enjoy it as much as I have!
I should note I was a bit worried about our first wash as between the cotton and the bright colors, I had some concerns about shrinkage and the colors fading. I'm glad to say that we haven't had any issues of the sort!
Happy Green Bee's entire line (sizes 0 to 3 yrs) is available on their website.
