Messanger Owls, Monkeys, Dinosaurs Oh mY!

I think I've been dreaming, I keep having visions of delicious little sock monkeys, felt dinosaurs lined with beautiful ribbons, and adorable messenger owls who pass notes and goodies just for me!

The Willow Tree on Etsy offers an assortment of beautiful plush hand made goodies. I was first drawn to her gorgeous little Busyfingers Babybuddies Dinosaur, the perfect little companion for infants and toddlers. He is perfectly sized for little hands, narrow around the middle its easy for them to grab and his ribbons are longer than most that we have seen, which makes for great practice for babies to practice their grabbing skills.

I actually came for the dinosaur but when Willow Tree sent me over one of their messenger owls I fell in love.

The Messenger Owl is a small little felt owl with a long ribbon loop at the top. He looks innocent enough but the fun is really in how you decide to use him! Personally I have big plans for our owl. Once Connor is old enough to understand I plan on using him to write him love notes that the Owl will deliver to him at night while he sleeps! Not to mention how useful he will become once we loose that first tooth, can you even imagine how difficult it must be for the Tooth Fairy to lift all those heads at night to collect the teeth under kids pillows? Why make her work any harder when we can leave those precious little teeth tucked away in our Owl so she can collect them and leave wonderful goodies behind.
