You know when I was a little girl I wasn't a big Barbie fan, I was so much more interested in My Little Ponies, Breyer Horses, and anything relating to faeries or castles... ok I am still interested in all of the above I wont lie.
Barbie was all about shopping, and going to the beach none of which was appealing to the little me. Barbie Mariposa and her Butterfly Fairy Friends DVD on the other hand has everything I love, faeries, castles, and sparkles.. wee!
And judging from my seven year old friend's daughter's response to just mentioning Mariposa (a shrill squeal and a twenty minute high speed conversation that honestly I have no idea what on earth she said..) I am assuming I am not the only one that feels that way.

We already have Mariposa (so please don't enter me in the contest!) and Roo LOVES it. The new Barbie movies are actually watchable, this one is good and Island Princess is even better. And I've had to watch a TON of princessy nonsense...

Barbie of Swan Lake sounds like fun to me. I love that story. My little one stares at the Barbie Mariposa commercial transfixed at all the colors and swirling butterflies. She'd go nuts with delight if I won this!
