Connor slept through the night!

I thought I would be overjoyed when Connor slept through the night for the first time. Is it wrong that I was devastated? I've gotten SOO used to going to bed around 1am (I've always been a night owl) when Connor woke up to eat. We would lay in bed, nurse, and snuggle and both fall asleep happy. (well would sleep beside me in his bassinet)

So Friday night like any other night I read my favorite blogs, entered some contests for goodies for Connor, read a little and no Connor... I even went to check on him twice and he was in there sleeping.. (man is he adorable when he is sleeping). So finally at 2am I laid down and watched Meerkat Manor. I don't even want to talk about how that show traumatizes me.

So to make a long story short.. I tossed and turn for an hour.. got up poked around on the net for awhile longer.. and still no Connor. I finally fell asleep and woke up at 9am FINALLY to Connor calling for me.

I was sad.. I almost cried.. I felt a little un-needed.. Is that totally awful of me? SO here I am again at almost 1am hoping he will wake up and I know he won't.. but I'm hoping.
